Returns Policy

We understand that when buying online there will be times when an exchange will be necessary. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.  Should you wish to do a return please contact us on (011) 702 1928 or email us on info@riderssaddlery.co.za.

No additional handling fees will be charged by Riders Saddlery

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as treats, pet food, supplements, vet care products and magazines cannot be returned. Gift Cards are also non-returnable.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

Returns can be processed as an exchange, a gift card may be issued or a refund may be granted.

Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, either by direct EFT or a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@riderssaddlery.co.za.

Sale items:
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.   Please take care when packaging the return and consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.  Returns will only be processes if they reach us in resalable condition. 

In-Store Returns policy:
The following returns policy is applicable to items purchased in-store at Riders Saddlery and appear at the bottom of your invoice:
 - It is essential that you retain this receipt as your proof of purchase in order to return any goods purchased.  If you change your mind and the goods are unused, we will happily exchange these in the form of a gift voucher, full refund, or other goods, within 30 days of purchase provided that they are in original packaging or condition and the price tag is still attached.  Refunds will be given using the original payment method.  This does not apply to perishables, sale items or discounted goods.  If you find that your purchase is defective within 6 months of purchase, we will gladly repair, exchange or refund your purchase, as long as proof of purchase is produced.
